Malaysia umbrella quotation brief: what to prepare
Bring the product specification and delivery requirements into one enquiry. This makes it easier to compare like-for-like quotations and identify unanswered decisions before sampling.
1. Models and quantity allocation
List catalogue model numbers and the quantity for each colour. Distinguish confirmed catalogue data from requested modifications. Include the folded dimensions, open size and opening mechanism that matter to your range.
2. Approved artwork versions
Provide vector artwork where available, print dimensions, positions and colour references. If a campaign has more than one logo or language version, allocate quantities to each version and identify who approves the wording.
3. Complete packaging specification
Describe the sleeve, hangtag, labels and individual box if required. Request final carton dimensions and packed quantities when evaluating transport. Make sure the quotation states which packaging components are included.
4. Delivery point and sample approval
Identify the exact destination in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah or Sarawak and your requested trade terms. Record the sample revision, approved artwork and any corrections. Review the sample, production and transport schedules separately.
